Daniel Bondia was born in Zaragoza (Spain) in 1987, started to study music at the age of seven years old in the Zaragoza Folk Music School. He studied traditional instruments and music language during three years.
When he was eleven years old he started on oboe in the Professional Conservatory of Music Zaragoza. During those years he perfected his education on summer courses (among which Manuel Angulo, Christian Schmitt, Jaime Gonzales, Eduardo Martínez…).
At age 21, he moved to Palma de Mallorca to study with Thomas Indermuhle and Pilar Fontalba in the „Conservatorio Superior de Música de les Illes Balears“, graduating with honors.
In 2013 was accepted in the University of the Arts of Bern, where he obtained the Master of Music Classical Performance degree.
He has attended numerous master classes with teachers such as Nick Deutsch, Maurice Bourge, David Walter, Isaac Duarte, Simon Fuchs or Martin Frutiger.
Actually, is attending the Master in Specialised Music Performance – Orchestra in the University of the Arts of Zürich with Simon Fuchs, Martin Frutiger and Kaspar Zimmermann.
He has been part in many young orchestras; among others: Ciudad de Granada Academy Orchestra, Aragonese Youth Wind Orchestra, Presjovem Orchestra and Basque National Youth Orchestra.
He has played many times with the “Balearic Symphony Orchestra” and “Navarra Symphony Orchestra”.
Daniel has played with Opera House Zürich and next February will play with “Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana” (Valencia´s Opera).
At the moment he is employed as trial member in City of London Sinfonia Orchestra.
